Anibal Lautaro & Valeria Maside
Their dance style, polished and passionate, conquered in a short time wide audiences in theatres and milongas from Buenos Aires to Moscow.
Anibal and Valeria are professional performers with an international trajectory and great maestros due to their pedagogical and didactic outstanding skills.
Their latest performances include their China Tour with the Company: Tango de America, dancing in the concert next to Quinteto Piazolla in Teatro Yauza Palace, Moscow, concerts with Orchestras Soledad and Solo Tango in Music Palace Moscow, Kiev, Rostov.
Luisa and Mariano Gauna
TOGETHER, apart from being part of different Tango companies, in 2011 they took the choreographic direction of the company Tango Emotion. Along with their dance career, they devote themselves to teaching, specially in various international festivals in Europe and Buenos Aires (Escuela Argentina de Tango). The love teaching in a variety of tango styles, from the the elegance of a traditional salon tango which they love, to with highly technical stage tango repertoire.
Alberto Goldberg
Argentine actor and dancer, choreographer and theatre director, teacher of Tango and of Tango-Theatre. He is a co-organizer of Cambalache Tango-Dance-Theater Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, now in its 10th year. He has directed and produced various Tango shows (Match de Improvisación Tango, Tangos en el Filo de la Noche, Corazoneando, Inocente Bandoneón, Descarrilados, Luces y Sombras). He has directed over 20 theatre performances (pieces by G. Buchner, B. Brecht, E. O´Neill, A. Discépolo, Ionesco, etc) and he works as theatre advisor for many companies.
Bianca Vrcan
Bianca is one of the leading teachers, performers and choreographers of Argentine Tango in the UK, based in London. Bianca has formally studied dance for five years, and holds a degree in Dance from Middlesex University. Her dance studies include different techniques of Contemporary dance (Graham, Cunningham, Humphrey, Release), Ballet, Choreography, Afro-Cuban dances, Tap, several forms of Flamenco, Salsa, Latin dances etc..She has also studied acting for 3 years.

Corina Piatti
Singer, songwriter and guitarist, originally from Argentina, Corina’s songs have a folk blues sound with a South American flavour. Corina sings in Spanish, Portuguese and English, reflecting the different cultures from which she has taken her musical inspirations. Brazilian bossa-novas and sambas are some of her specialties, and when she sings tangos in her native Spanish, you cannot help but admire the authenticity. Her solo performance on voice and guitar is refreshingly unique in character and her charisma and she engages the audiences with her soulful vocals and an intense delivery.
Andy Ryser
London-born, has played trumpet [mainly jazz] most of his adult life and has only been dancing Argentine Tango for the last 20 years, also teaching it since 1996, mainly at Morley College, London.
As a dancer, he did a lot of street performances at Covent Garden Market for over three years and was the principal Dancer in Evita (the film: 1996) he took part in the Royal Ballet’s Tango Nuevo project in October 1999 and recently performed in the trailer to BBC1’s Dancing in the Streets with Bruce Forsyth.
Tony Walker
Tony is one of the most popular London DJs and also runs his popular Tango on Thames event. He plays wanderful selection of traditional music with a touch of surprise tunes and will DJ for our festival for the 3rd time. We look forward to welcome Tony again.
Alberto Ortiz
Alberto moved from Argentina to London 3 years ago. After starting as the DJ of his own Tea Dance, Beto became so popular that he is now invited regularly to DJ at the different London and UK milongas including Oxford Tango festival. Alberto is a traditional DJ who selects the best Tangos from the golden age and arranges them in tandas and cortinas and knows how to create a party athmosphere in a milonga.
Diego Doigneu
Born in Buenos Aires, studied theatre and music both in Buenos Aires and London. He is now one of the most popular DJs around and regularly DJs in London and is resident DJ in Tango Etnia. He also DJd in one of Buenos Aires’ most popular milongas—Practica X and in many of milongas and festivals in London and beyond.
Kirsty Bennett
Kirsty has been running her KijuTango school in Brighton since 2006. The school offers high quality Argentine tango classes, organised and taught mainly by Kirsty and occasionally with guest teachers. KijuTango also runs regular milongas and many special events during the year with many international guests and has been crucial in fgrowing tango scene in Brighton for many years.
Simon Hyde
Simon Hyde is a participatory artist working with screen based media including video, photography and animation. Simon will be doing video dj-ing for 3rd time in our Tango Rojo festival.
Deborah Esses
Deborah Esses was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1966, where she spent her childhood. When she was 15 she started her Fine Art studies at the “Instituto Beato Angelico” graduating with her first degree in 1985. In 1986 Esses attended a one year postgraduate course at Tel Aviv University, studying Art History in the Middle East. She then returned to Buenos Aires, where she enrolled in a Mixed Media course at the “Ernesto de la Carcova Fine Arts Academy” under the lead of artist and professor Alfredo Portillos.
